This is in very good condition and a crisp modern print (post 1990s we suspect) from original negative. If this was a vintage print we would charge much more.

NYC: U-P Film Group, May 1965

10.2 x 15cm, 1pp mimeograph black on blue paper. Publicity leaflet designed by Smith for this proposed premier of his Sinbad film which research suggests was never made along with a showing of Flaming Creatures his best known and most influential film. However at its first showing Flaming Creatures was seized by the police at its premiere on April 29, 1963 at the Bleecker Street Cinema in New York City and Jonas Mekas was prosecuted and given a suspended sentence for showing the film. It is not clear if this performance on Broadway took place. The leaflet has a rough drawing by Smith of a transvestite Sinbad applying lipstick.

Very good + condition. Exceptionally rare ephemera,
