First edition of this collection of poems by Mansour which has six full page lithographs by the artist and laid in an original 19 x 15cm, b/w surrealist etching which is signed and numbered from a total limitation of 300 copies. The book is also hand numbered from an edition of 300 copies.

Sadly the bottom edge of the dustjacket has at some point torn when being replaced in the slipcase by a careless owner so there is a ragged 5cm tear at the bottom edge but otherwise the book is in near fine condition as is the etching.

Surrealist tract attacking the evolution of the French Communist Party into early euro-communism and leaving revolutionary activity behind as well as reawakening old scores between the Group and Aragon. Breton had died the previous year and the group was de facto leaderless at this point although there were no shortage of pretenders. Signed in print by Audoin, Bedoin, Benoit, Camacho, Dax, Ivsic, Le Brun, Mansour, Parent and Toyen amongst others. Fine.
