Amsterdam: Philips, 1963
12 inch, LP record in 31.2 x 31 cm folder with bound in 24pp booklet with a text by Jan Vrijman and photographs by Ed Van der Elsken. The record is a collection of musique concrete and improvised sounds The images by Elsken show Appel painting on canvas and running amok in the Utrecht studios. There are come condition issues here that affect the sleeve and booklet: the are tear marks and surface abrasions on a majority of the pages near the binding where they had been stuck together due to past moisture. The vinyl is VG+ to VG++ with just a few very tiny marks here and there and well with just the odd soft click occasionally. The damage to the booklet is very unfortunate but this is a very scarce item and we have priced it accordingly.
