N.p.: n.p., n.d.

21 x 30cm, black and white silver gelatine photograph from original negative showing Charlotte Moorman performing from the balcony part of Stockhausen's musical play Originale in 1965.

This image was originally taken by Fred McDarrah and his estate retains copyright on the image so this is sold for personal use and not for reproduction. This is in very good condition and a crisp modern print (post 1990s we suspect) from original negative. If this was a vintage print we would charge much more.

27 x 26 m, 8pp plus pictorial covers and one glued down image on inside back cover. This was the original concert programme from the June 22, 1969 premiere of Karlheinz Stockhausen's Theaterstuck Oben und Unten and Stimmung that took place during the Holland Festival of 1969. There are b/w photographs of the composer and the performers, and extracts from the scores throughout. Oben und Unten ("Above and below") was part of Aus den sieben Tagen, a set of 15 text compositions by Stockhausen composed in May 1968. The piece has parts for a woman, man, and child, and a group of instrumentalists. As indicated in the program notes, "Sounds, words and phrases of man and woman are more or less indicated but not in detail. The child imitates some words heard from man and woman." The performance was mocked in part by the audience and Stockhausen ended it early in offence. VG+. Somewhat scarce.
