31 x 8cm (approx.) silkscreen print on plastic vase. Issued as part of the installation "Warengestell mit Vasen” where a kitsch plastic tourist vase was reproduced in a pyramid by Fritsch. The image on the side is a somewhat stylised liner ship at sea. The installation travelled to many other museums but copies of the vase were sold as an unlimited object multiple - although they are in fact quite hard to find. Material slightly browned, due to age, partially small abrasions, colour marks and stains. Upper edge slightly chamfered, otherwise good. Ref: Liebermann 68.

Issued as part of the installations "Warengestell" and "Warengestell mit Madonnen” where a large number of copies of common items were shown in large displays as if in a shop. The original of the figurine was purchased from a devotional shop, cast then recreated in plaster with the yellow colour added by the artist. This is the most sought after of the multiples Fritsch created. In VG condition with no apparent defects (which is not common as many were minority chipped or the colour rubbed off).
