Koln: Salon Verlag, 2002
19 x 12cm, 194pp. Card covers. As with all of the “Ex Libris” series of books the artist was asked to nominate a book from their own collection. That book was then reprinted as an appropriated artist's book and the artist supplied a specially designed Ex Libris sticker which was signed and numbered in pencil by Dion. Dion chose “Die Heoffnete Raritaten und Naturalien Kammer” - a book on art and rarities, authored by Paul Jacob Marperger in 1704. This book was a major interest on Dion's art practice. This was one of only 200 such copies published. This was the first of the Ex Libris series to be published by Salon. Long out of print. Fine.
