27 x 20.8cm, 20 pp (includes slightly heavier paper weight cover). First edition of the second issue of this now very scarce journal, edited by Lemaitre and Isou (which only had three issues). Texts by Maurice Lemaître, Gabriel Pomerand, Jean-Louis Brau, Gil J. Wolman, Isidore Isou, most notably the preface to the film "Le film est déjà commencé" by Maurice Lemaître. UInternal pages are browned due to cheap paper, cover slightly so else VG+. Rare.

Original pink paper has mostly faded, one slight dark stain top left on first page but overall VG+.

The first number of this Letteriste/early situationist journal with texts and illustrations by Lemaître, Matricon, Legros, Dufrêne, Wolman, Berna, Brau, Guillaumin, and Isou. The most renowned of the series with both theoretical and artistic contributions by the group.

Wear to spine with some paper loss at the bottom and crease marks. Paper as always browned. Over all close to VG.

23 x 17.5cm, 154pp plus card wrappers and printed dustjacket. This was Isou's only book explaining his cinema theory with a cover by Maurice Lemaitre (so as to have an advert on the back for Le Film est Deja Commence? which had been released in 1951). The initial print run was only 30 copies after an earlier text by Isou - as a result this is one of the rarest of Isou's books.

Slight marks to wrappers/dj and very minor wear at top and bottom of spine but else VG+. Impossible to find.

22.9 x 25.5cm, 4pp. The single number of this first ever political publication of the Lettristes edited by Maurice Lemaître and en editorial board of J.L. Brau, Maurice Lemaître, G. Pomerand, G J Wolman and texts and contributions by Isidore Isou, Jean-Louis Brau, and Gil J Wolman.
The importance of this publication cannot be over-stated - not only the introduction of Isou and others into the political diatribe but also regarded as the first major theoretical paper to stress the role of young people in revolution and change.
This is not in great condition (see photographs) there are closed tears, folds, edge damage and the paper is browned and stained throughout - and we have priced it at half the normal value (usually 1500 uk pounds). However all the texts are clear and unaffected by the wear and tear. Very rare in any condition.

A print multiple by Lemaitre which is a sort of do-it-yourself work where the images and texts and other documents relating to the subject are to be added to the print to create an "open portrait". This is one of only 15 numbered copies aside from the wider release of 1,050 numbered copies which has a detailed and extensive double page Lettriste drawing from 1970 by Lemaitre in blue, green, purple, red and black on the blank front end papers which is signed. A fine otherwise uncut copy. Unique. Image of drawing on request.
