London: Tate Gallery, 2013
22 x 5 x 3cm (apron). Hand made bottle opener - two embedded screws on a hand painted wedge of wood (yellow, blue and red stripes) such that one can use the screw heads to force open a bottle cap. A unique work created by Gaza for the Museum of Contemporary African Art which placed on display items made in Africa as cheap but functional objects.
JOINT;
Exhibition handout from the show. Torn at top due to the method of storage where each had to be torn from a glued pad.
