N.p. (Rome): L'Attico, 1973

31 x 20cm, b/w offset lithographic poster for a dance event by the influential Paxton who invented the dance style called "contact improvisation" (which he was performing here alongside Nancy Smith, Steve Christiansen, Annette la Roque, Mary Fulkerson, David Woodberry, Danny Lepkoff and Margot Basset). The performance took place at the famous L'Attico art gallery in its original location. Paxton was a founding member of the Judson Dance Theater and trained with Merce Cunningham and later collaborated with Yvonne Rainer and Trisha Brown. VG+ condition. Scarce.
