Munchen: S Press Tonbandverlag, 1978 13.5 x 13.5 x 1.8cm plastic jewel box content of a single cassette. Printed label and 20 x 10cm (folded) offset 1pp insert. The recording is from a performance of readings which took place in the Veith Thurske Gallery in 1977 of Smith reading Dream of Rimbaud, Lullaby, Seventh Heaven, Rape, Gloria, Baby Field, Prayer, Electric Guitar /Statement. The tape is 30 minutes long. Fine estate. Edition size not known.

UK: Arista records, 1975 Standard LP in original printed sleeve (with Mapplethorpe photograph of the songwriter). Vintage record and one of the greatest LPs ever released. Wear to cover and some marks. LP without visible damage. The catalogue number here is ARTY 122 which makes it the first UK release.

58 x 39.5cm black on laminated card. A poster of the truly American poet performing printed as a publicity poster during the Horses era. This is signed in blue ink at the bottom of the poster by Smith herself (in truth a bit of a scrawl). Some condition issues - pin holes at corners where it has been displayed on a wall, some edge damage and marks and some past creases from poor storage but a fantastic vintage item from one of the greatest rock and roll musicians ever.

NYC: Search & Destroy, 1978 49 x 25cm, folded as issued. Tabloid newsprint. First edition. A single number from this archetypal US punk magazine: a flagship of the US variant of the punk movement - which was always a little more arty and a little more middle class than the more "authentic" UK equivalent. This number has articles on Iggy Pop, Jordan, Patti Smith, Dead Boys and Metal Urbain. Illustrated throughout in b/w. Slightly browned as always - else VG. Scarce.
