20.5 x 15.5cm, 4pp announcement card for a group show including Janine Antoni, Rachel Evans, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, SImon Linke, Paul McCarthy, Marc Quinn, Charles Ray, Cindy Sherman and Kiki Smith as curated by Jeffrey Deitch. This was an early show that included Hirst, Evans and Quinn all of whom had only recently become known thanks to the emergence of the YBAs. One detail of a Hirst work on front and internally (Dead Head from 1991). The card also notes a performance by Antoni - "Loving Care". VG+.

21 x 18cm, 40pp (total over all three publications) Three nested brochures as issued - the exhibition catalogue for the major installation where McCarthy set up a factory in the Monnaie de Paris building that made chocolate sculptures (which were for sale just in time for Xmas). The main image was that of a gnome holding a huge butt plug. One could also buy a chocolate butt plug at the exhibition but that seemed to be an object that could never successfully succeed in its function! Staples are rusted else VG+.

Exhibition catalogue and artist’s book with specially drawn pages and b/w and colour illustrations of large scale inflatable sculptures and short essays in English by David Thorp, Frances Morris and Sarah Glennie as well as Paul McCarthy in conversation with James Rondeau. Two enormous inflatable sculptures, Blockhead and Daddies Bighead, were installed outside the gallery in London (and in Liverpool also). Fine and a delight.

Shrinkwrapped (approx 42 x 25 cm - as deliberately issued and hence misshapen) artist's book consisting of a red, 28 x 21 cm carpet creating wrappers which hold two books one by Roberto Ohrt: "Four howling facades", size 28 x 21.5 cm, typoscript, 42 pages and the other an adapted facsimile of Guy Debord and Asgar Jorn's "Memoires, Structures Portantes d'Asger Jorn, edite par l'Internationale Situationiste” 43 x 14 cm, 58 pages.The artists glued six photos (25 x 20 cm) with titles such as "Shit Sled", "DXI Shit Plug", "Proposed Monument” within the facsimile. The total being shrinkwrapped in plastic and hence becoming an object multiple rather than book: something that is typical of the work of Jason Rhoades and the forced folding and manipulating of the contents is part of the work. This is one of only 500 signed and numbered copies released - and is in pristine unopened condition (many of the 500 were opened - in fact the publisher's claim was that the artists wanted clients to buy two copies - one to read and the other to retain it's function as a three-dimensional artwork. Fine.

First edition artist’s book published on the occasion of the Sagacho-Bis Tokyo, Japan exhibition displaying the artist’s performance of an obscene Santa Claus spreading paint and ketchup everywhere to create chaos. Reproduces ten drawings also created during the performance. Now hard to find. VG+.

Original printed two part cylindrical box content of a 35 x 15cm (dia.) original dark chocolate sculpture of a dildo/butt plug which McCarthy claimed was a Xmas tree when a larger version was displayed publicly in Paris. Unlimited edition but most were eaten as gifts and only available during the exhibition. Fine condition.

4cm dia., artist designed coin showing his “Christmas tree” which was displayed in Paris next to the La Hotel De La Ville in December 2014 much to the outrage of the local population as the "Xmas tree” was really a huge inflatable butt plug sex toy. This is one of a number of “coins/medals’ issued by the artist at the time. Fine condition.

Full colour illustrations throughout. This is an unopened and still plastic wrapped example with publisher's paper banner around the journal and the multiple.

25 x 21cm single sheet of printed edible chewing gum with a reproduced drawing of a McCarthy evil Santa on it. Issued with the magazine shrink wrapped on the cover, these eat art object multiples turned out to be hugely fragile and many broke and crackedd during transit or on the magazine shelves. This example is as pristine as one can now find and is whole with only surface cracks. Rare.
