NYC: New School, 1964

42 x 19.6cm, 2pp announcement leaflet/poster. A performance by Paik, Moorman, Chieko Shiomi, Philip Corner, Dick Higgins, Peter Moore, and others which included Electronic TV & Color TV Experiment, 3 Robots, Pop Sonata, 2 Zen Boxes and 1 Zen Can. This was Paik's first one-person exhibition in the United States and the image on the front of the poster is of Paik's Robot K-456 (taken by Peter Moore). On the reverse is Paik's essay, "Electronic TV & Color TV Experiment." Charlotte Moorman performed ‘Pop Sonata’ for the second time, a piece which involved her removing her jewellery and clothes “before she lay down on the floor to finish the piece, her cello atop her like a lover” This leaflet was sent to Ray Johnson and the ink address on the reverse is in Moorman's own hand. Folded for mailing else VG+. Scarce.
