Paris, J. De Jong, 1964

28 x 21.7cm, 220pp. (different papers internally). Original offset lithographic wrappers with a dustjacket. The fifth number from six of this English-language periodical created and edited by Jacqueline de Jong as an artistic yet unofficial contribution to the activities of the International Situationists (she had resigned from the group just prior to publishing this journal). Many of the articles follow Jorn's interest in historical Scandinavian art with many images of sculptures and architecture.

Contributions from Asgar Jorn, six different texts by Max Bucailles, Pol Bury, Peter Schatt, Jim Ryan, Karl Pelgrom, and others. IIllustrated throughout in b/w.

The text block is coming away from the wrappers but this is easly repaired with no long term damage by a re-gluing, else the outer wrappers are a little frayed with a small paper lack on the dustjacket and some chipping near margins and a tear to the dj along the front spinal fold and one former adhesive mark from a price sticker. Internally VG+.

Amsterdam: Hengelo, n.d. (1962)

30 x 21cm, 64pp (different papers and sizes and some fold-outs). Over size offset lithographic wrappers. Stapled. The second number from six of this English-language periodical created and edited by Jacqueline de Jong as an artistic yet unofficial contribution to the activities of the International Situationists (she had resigned from the group just prior to publishing this journal).

Contributions from Boris Vian, Gasché rodolphe (sic), Peter Schat, Marcel et Gabriel Piqueray, and others including experimental scores for music and detournments as well as reproduced press cuttings. This is one of the harder numbers from the series to find and is in mostly VG+ condition with the outer wrappers showing some fading of the blue card at the spine and near margins, internally VG+.

21 x 15cm, 1pp announcemnet leaflet for an experimental music concert. Works include Louis Andriessen - Contra Tempus; Misja Mengelberg - hello, windyboys and Peter Schat - On escalation, in memoriam Ernesto Che Guevara. Interestingly Peter Schat became associated with the Dutch Provo movement - in particular helping by allowing his cellar to be used for the printing of the various publications (some of which were deemed illegal).
