An early (perhaps first) American English translation of the second section of "Traité de savoir-vivre à l’usage des jeunes générations" written in 1967.  Printed on light purple paper internally, this covers the last five chapters of the original (7 - 11). Poorly folded as issued else VG+.

This is a very scarce document.

An early (perhaps first) American English translation of the first section of "Traité de savoir-vivre à l’usage des jeunes générations" written in 1967.  Printed on light blue paper internally with black on blue illustrations apart from an uncut 4pp middle section on white, this covers the first six chapters of the original. The black wrappers are lightly creased but the back cover has some white drips and there are slight tears along the spine including near staples but otherwise VG.

This is a very scarce document in any condition.

Illustrated in black on blue throughout. Some grubbiness to the original wrappers and staples are rusty due to the poor quality employed else VG.

The first English translation by Christopher Gray and Philippe Vissac of Raoul Vaneigem's "Banalités de base" which can be originally found in numbers 7 (April 1962) and 8 (January 1963) of the Internationalle Situationiste journal. Very good condition. VG+.

Printed signatures of Vaneigem and Strijbosch at end. A fine example of this scarce document. The title if translated into English is very rude (Oh, why be prissy? It means "No dialogue with cunts" which gives a flavour of how vitriolic Debord et al could be when faced with apostolics). This example is folded but otherwise is in VG condition.

This example has some browning along sides and creases - hence prince is reduced - there is a better copy also for sale on this website (unless its sold in which case sorry!)

21 x 15cm. 40pp. Stapled wrappers. First German language edition of this crucial Situationist testament by Vaneigem first published in French in IS nr 12. Translator not noted. A close to fine copy of this uncommon document with 7 b/w images - two of which are of German protesting students and the others well known Situ detournments and photocollages. 

21 x 12cm, 148 pp. Original card covers. Debord/Sanguinetti's 'Theses sur l'Internationne Situationiste et son temps' is followed (in an annex) by both Debord's 'Notes to serve as the history of the IS from 1969 to 1971' and the notable printing of the public statement issued by the IS after public resignation of Vaneigem - a text full of leftist spleen - as the grouping began to decline as an organised body. Fine copy with some minor spotting on end papers. The rear cover reproduces the original 1872 "Circulaire" that the IS title parodies.
