30 x 21cm, folded sheet that opens out to 59.4 x 84.1 cm. The work consists of a poster with the text: "FIRSTNESS, SECONDNESS AND THIRDNESS" and there is an instruction by Gander to soak it in water and dry off to make the paper rippled then gaffa tape to attach it roughly to a wall.

One of 100 copies signed and numbered. Fine. Immediately out of print.

Artist's book - designed to mimic Ryan Gander’s annotated copy of the Vintage Classic edition of Italo Calvino’s ‘If on a winter’s night a traveller’ (1979). Gander's version is typeset in "Set in Stone"; a typeface invented by the artist and produced by Adrien Vasquez of John Morgan Studio. The typeface is based on a collection of stones found by the artist’s children on a beach near their family home. The artist has reapplied his original annotations using an oversized brush and black calligraphy ink. This is one of the 60 deluxe copies - each copy includes a hand drawn annotation by the artist. Each of the deluxe copies is signed and numbered by Gander. VG+.

30 x 21cm - folded printed sheet with diecut - in a format that can both exist as an 8pp book and be opened to create a poster. The work has both on one side eight photographs reproduced in colours of the light falling on the pages of a prototype of the book and once opened up a show plan for an exhibition by Gander where the text is written by a forensic graphologist in the handwriting style of Spike Milligan, the British comedian and member of the Goons. The poster/book is in the original transparent plastic envelope and has the printer's wrap-around band which has a text by Gander and a photograph of the prototype book reproduced full colour. Scarce publication. Fine booklet and band in slightly worn plastic bag.

Gander is a complex artist, thematically interested in a wide range of subjects including family, communication, interpretation and many other areas of concern and his works are in a huge range of styles. This impressive book is a huge resource of previous artworks by one of Britain’s most important contemporary artists. This copy is VG.

26 x 21cm, 16pp (single sheet that unfolds to 84 x 52cm, 2pp) Artist's book that creates a two-sided poster when opened - on one side the image is "two minutes and fifteen seconds of light from Gander's window over looking Jardin Villemin in the 10th arr. Paris. On the reverse is a "show plan" of a Spike Milligan exhibition from 2002 written by a forensic graphologist in the style of Milligan's handwriting. Limitation unknown. Near fine with original printed publisher's bandeau.
