25 x 25cm, 18 double sided sheets (some 4pp) plus original wrappers . The thirteenth of the Kwadraat-Bladen books produced by Pieter Brattinga for Hilversum Jong & Co as a way to promote their high-end printing business. The book contains a selection of poems reproduced in the poet’s own facsimile holograph. Chosen by Simon VInkennoog the poets include Hans Andreus, Remco Campert, Hugo Claus, Gerrit Kouwenaar, Cees Nooteboom, Lucebert, Hugues c. Pernath, Sybren Polet, Bert Schierbeek, Simon Vinkenoog, Gregory Corso, Allen Ginsberg, Christopher Logue, Jo Guglielmi, Henri Deluy, Andre Liberati, Jean Todrani, Hans M. Enzensberger. The different nationalities are printed on different coloured paper. Slight bumping on some top right corners but overall VG+. Very scarce.

A single number of this magazine with a special issue dedicated to happenings with documentation on Simon Vinkenoog (with a photograph of the happening "Stoned in the Streets"); Provo; Johnny van Doorn; Robert Jasper Grootveld; Peter Bergman, Fred Borensztajn, Malsen, Jan Cremer. Bart Huges; Peter Vos (Drawings). Cor Jaring supplied many of the pictures. This is the second printing of this magazine, but (most likely) from the same year. VG.

18 x 14cm, 178pp plus printed card covers. A detailed biography and monograph of Vinkenoog's former-Cobra colleague Appel written while Vinkenoog was an active member of the Dutch Provo movement. With seventeen b/w reproductions of works, eight in full colour and seventeen b/w photographs of the artist and his life. A useful reference and insider's view of the early days of Cobra and Appel's later development. Laminate slightly peeling back on the spine but otherwise very good.
