The programme notes a huge number of participants exhibiting art at the New York's Passenger Ship Terminal including Eric Andersen, Ay-o, John Cage, Christo, Philip Corner, Yoko Ono, Ben Patterson, Knud Petersen, Otto Piene, Klaus Groh, Geoffrey Hendricks, Ray Johnson, Milan Knizak, Alison Knowles, Richard Kostelanetz, Takehisa Kosugi, Carolee Schneemann, Mieko Shiomi, Ben Vautier and details of a "Group Hologram Show" and a "Group Audio Show" which included David Tudor, John Giorno, Takehisa Kosugi, Yoshi Wada and others.</span></p>
<p>Also there was "Six Sure Cycles of Poetry Performances" which included Jackson Mac Low and Opal L. Nations, and "Two Continuous 12 =-Hour Video Tape Shows" which included works by Jeff Byrd, Nancy Holt, Nam June Paik with Charlotte Moorman (Guadalcanal Requiem), Shigeko Kubota, and Les Levine.</p>
<p>These are just a percentage of the huge number of artists who were involved in the Festival and one has to be impressed by Moorman's organisation of such an event<span style="font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif">. <p>58 x 43.5cm, 4pp broadside.  Black on light yellow paper. The sixth of the eleven issues of the official Fluxus newspaper designed by George Maciunas. This is the first of the newspaper to utilise a large number of photographs of Fluxus events including La Monte Young, Joe Jones, Chieko Shiomi, George Brecht, Robert Watts, Takehisa Kosugi, Chieko Shiomi, Phillip Corner, Hi Red Center, Alison Knowles and Ben Vautier. Internally there is a double page advert for the Perpetual Fluxfest with performances by Yoko Ono, Ay-o, Anthony cox, Walter de Maria, Joe Jones, Glue Mamma, Ben Patterson, Robert Watts and Hi Red Center.  A large photograph of the Flux Orchestra is on the back page taken at the concert in Carnegie Hall in September 1965.  Folded for mailing as usual else VG++. <p>28 x 21.5cm, 4pp announcement leaflet and programme for the first of the mixed-media opera events organised by Paik and Moorman. The event included works by George Brecht and James Tenny, Giuseppe Chiari, Earl Brown, John Cage, Yoko Ono, Norman Berg, Sylvano Bossatti, Takehisa Kosugi, Joseph Beuys, and Judd Yalkut as well as an "underground film" by Norman Berg. Typographic design only. The date on the front of the sheet has been neatly circled in red crayon else VG+. Scarce.</p>

<p>12 x 25cm, 2pp. With three serrations to allow the card to be torn apart for each of the days. One one side is the concert details and on the other details of each performance on each of the three days. On the 26th Joe Jones performed a musical work. On the 27th, various artists performed including Alocco, Ben, Brecht, Hansen, Higgins, Jones, Knowles, Kosugi, Maciunas, Marchetti, La Monte Young, Nam June Paik, Oldenbourg sic. (Oldenburg), Patterson, Schmit, Shiomi, Watts. The last day had event by Boetti, Vautier, Simonetti and Diacono.</p>
<p>VG+ condition although one of the serrations has slight come apart.</p>
<p>Rare.</p>
