Ingatestone: OU (Chopin), 1974 15.5 x 24cm, unpaginated (c. 160pp). Original card covers. The text by Burroughs is a reworking of an Egyptian hieroglyphic which is illustrated with line drawings by Gale. The foreword are thoughts on pictorial language by the writer. There are French and Dutch translations of the texts also. This is an unnumbered and unsigned example - only 400 in total being released by Chopin's Ou Editions, fifty of which were signed by Burroughs. It is a very scare book not being an official release. VG+ condition. . Ed./Druk: 1e druk. Papieren omslag. One of 50 numbered and signed copies. Unusual Burroughs edition. Contains the text in English, French and Dutch. This edition was never officially issued, but consists of 350 'common' copies, and 50 deluxe-copies on Holland van Gelder, numbered I to L. These deluxe-copies were all signed by Burroughs in colophon. Cond./Kwaliteit: Goed.

NYC: Giorno Poetry Systems, 1981 Two separate, standard audio cassettes in plastic cases and with printed inserts. Both volumes of this collaboration by Laurie Anderson, John Giorno and William S. Burroughs, recorded during their "Red Night" spoken word tour of 1981. Anderson's material mostly came from her performance piece, United States and this was Anderson's first substantial audio release before her 1982 first full solo album. There was also an LP release of this work in the same year. Very good example of this important recording although one of the vintage, transparent cassette boxes is slightly cracked. Rare.

An unauthorised publication with selections from Burroughs' work and various of essays, cartoons and poems by Simon Strong, Paul Cecil, Caspar Williams, Robert Hill, Marco Polo, Naomi Rioches "and the ghosts of Brion Gysin and Hassan/Sabbah") Published by a press associated with Genesis P-Orridge and the Temple of Psychick Youth. VG condition. Quite rare. JOINT WITH P-Orridge, Genesis SPLINTER TEST. IMPLICATIONS OV CUT-UPS & SAMPLES AS QUANTUM MEMES. AN ESSAY BY GENESIS P-ORRIDGE. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF TIME TRAVEL THIS TEXT ARRIVES ON 3.2.1994 = 23 AND IS THUS INCLUDED AS A FOLD-IN (Sic) Brighton: Temple Press, 1994 21 x 15cm, 4pp. A short essay by Djinn on the influence of Burroughs cut up techniques in music and art along with some rather incorrect (sorry Gen) remarks on quantum mechanics. VG. Again rare.

14 x 21.6cm, 20pp plus wrappers. First edition thus but actually the second edition of this co-operative Beat text. This second edition has a reproduced collage by Jean-Jacques Lebel and a red and black illustration by Liam O'Gallagher not to be found in the first printings. VG althoughÂ with some small marks on wrappers and the remnant mark of a past price sticker. Staples somewhat rusted.

Haring's vision of the End inspired by the acclaimed &"Apocalypse Suite"; the portfolio of baroque collage-drawings-paintings published jointly with visionary novelist William Burroughs. The subject of this single print from the suite being "The household appliances revolt..."; - Haring indicating a techno rebellion under the control of the Whore of Babylon. The end of the world could still be nigh. Signed and numbered from a small edition of 90 copies. Fine estate. Conservationally framed in plastic and acrylic.
