Chicago: Museum of Contemporary Art, 1969
Standard 12inch LP record in original (NOT a later repoduction) gatefold sleeve which was released on the occasion of the title exhibition which was abandoned because of "technical difficulties". The record contains the phone calls of participating artists Siah Armajani, Richard Artschwager, John Baldessari, Iain Baxter, Mel Bochner, George Brecht, Jack Burnham, James Lee Byars, Robert Cumming, Francoise Dallegret, Jan Dibbets, John Giorno, Robert Grosvenor, Hans Haacke, Richard Hamilton, Dick Higgins, Davi Det Hompson, Robert Huot, Alain Jacquet, Edward Kienholz, Joseph Kosuth, Les Levine, Sol LeWitt, Robert Morris, Bruce Nauman, Claes Oldenburg, Dennis Oppenheim, Richard Serra, Robert Smithson, Guenther Uecker, Stan Van Der Beek, Bernar Venet, Frank Lincoln Viner, Wolf Vostell, William Wegman, and William T. Wiley giving instructions to the MCA staff on how to execute their various pieces for this exhibition.

While it is possible to find some copies of the LP the gatefold sleeve is incredibly rare to find and any copies for sale are either sans sleeve or are a later facsimile reprint of it. This is the original and while there is some wear on all edges and one slit on the spine and some wear at top and bottom it is an incredible find.

The record is in VG+ condition. Clearly rare.

Dayton: Wright State University, 1978
25.5 x 22.5cm, 84pp plus card covers. Spiral bound. Exhibition catalogue documenting some of Anderson's earliest works including the attempted building of an acoustic lens, a site specific installation, a photographic / musical project in New Mexico and a gallery installation which included an early version of the Tape-Bow Violin. Wegman's work involved various "pre-dog:" performances primarily centring on his video experiments. B/w photographs throughout of the various projects while Oppenheim's landworks are well represented. Very good.

NYC: Avalanche Magazine, 1974
42 x 29cm, 32pp (self cover) Tabloid later number of the conceptual art museum founded by Willoughby Sharp. This number is dedicated to Video and Performance art with articles / contributions by Vito Acconci, Robert Bell, Joseph Beuys, Ulrike Rosenbach, Dennis Oppenheim, Keith Sonnier, Richard Serra, Chris Burden, Willoughby Sharp and William Wegman. The paper is as always a little browned and some wear and tear to the edges and spine (which has small tears but is intact) however this is better condition than usually found. The later numbers of Avalanche are much harder to find than the earlier ones.
