Artist designed postcards (36 in all, many individually modified or signed) in cardboard box from the Serpentine show of the same name curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist.<BR>

All of the cards - except Lawrence Weiner's - in each set of postcards (each 10.5 x 15cm, 2pp) are altered in some way by the artist concerned.<BR>

The cards consist of Wolfgang Tillmans: 3 postcards, one signed; Douglas Gordon: 3 postcards, all with the artist's bite; Franz West: 3 postcards, one signed; Maria Eichhorn: 3 postcards, all with applied 19p stamp; Hans-Peter Feldmann: 3 postcards with glued b/w xerox images on the back; Christian Boltanski - 3 postcards, one signed; Jef Geys: 3 postcards, one signed; Lawrence Weiner - 3 postcards; Gilbert & George: 3 postcards, all signed ("love from Gilbert & George"); Fabryce Hybert: 3 postcards, one with '34 - 35' written on the front; Christine Hill: 3 postcards, one signed and Carsten Holler - 3 postcards, all signed and dated. <BR>

Additional to the cards is the exhibition catalogue - 15 x 10.5cm, 20pp.<BR>

All fine in slightly scuffed box in somewhat crumpled in part original silver foil envelope. One of 40 numbered copies in pencil on the outer silver foil envelope. Rare.<BR><BR>

Exhibition catalogue and major monograph for a massive show of  "Beauty and Horror in Contemporary Art" - which while not specifically about the Young British Art explosion of success was indeed a major theme found in those artists. Those participating included Richard Prince, Gregor Schneider, Luc Tuymans, Marizio Cattelan, Mariko Mori, Mike Kelley, Wolfgang Tillmans, Chris Cunningham, Tim Noble and Sue Webster, Darren Almond, Jake and Dinow Chapman and Jeff Koons. All have reproductions of works in colour and b/w and short essays in English. VG+.

Exhibition catalogue/handout of a group exhibition including Richard Prince, Luc Tuymans, Marizio Cattelan, Mariko Mori, Mike Kelley, Wolfgang Tillmans, Chris Cunningham, Darren Almond, Tim Noble & Sue Webster, Angus Fairhurst, Jake and Dinos Chapman, and Jeff Koons. Text only but all works listed. The theme of the exhibition was that of works inspired or referencing the Book of Revelation by St John. Cheap staples are a bit rusty else VG+.

28.7 x 21cm, 42pp plus soft cover. Single number of this London freesheet which has a specially designed cover by WOlfgang Tillmans showing the London underground escalators with the overlaid text: "LONDON LIGHT HOPE". VG+.

15 x 10.5cm, 2pp. announcement card for the first ever Edinburgh International Fashion Festival - on the front is a Wolfgang Tillmans photograph taken especially for the show. VG+.

30.5 x 23cm, 68pp. Boards with photographic dust jacket (Portrait of Rem Koolhaas). First edition with 68 full colour full page portraits of celebrities and friends. This example is signed by Tillmans on the front title. VG.
