Artist book appropriating vintage b/w photographs (mostly by Otto Croy) usually from the period soon after 1941 which was the year of Feldman’s birth. Feldmann notes that : ‘These kinds of pictures were part of my youth and greatly appeal to me. It seems to me that the photos in this book clearly show what I am looking for in photography and what I try to find in my own photographic work.’.” One might compare this book with Richter’s Atlas publications in that they are source material for the artist in some manner.
