London: Saachi Gallery, 1999
10.5 x 15cm, 2pp. Artist’s postcard displaying the first incarnation of the artist’s signature work where a room is filled with sump oil such that the surface is highly reflective and becomes a mirror. The huge installation is here shown from the time when the gallery was based in the former Greater London Council HQ in Lambeth (which was sold off after Margaret Thatcher abolished the council in revenge for its left wing and highly popular policies).
