Twenty-eight full colour vintage photographs – each 10 x 12.5cm. An intimate collection of candid photographs from Naropa taken in 1990 or thereabouts at a party. There are numerous images of William S. Burroughs (with Corso at a reading, petting a cat, meeting fans with Anne Waldman) as well as two images of Peter Orlovsky in a hot tub with a naked girl. Other subjects include Norman Mailer and James Grauerholz and an image of Allen Ginsberg talking taken from the side. A revealing group of images from the school founded by Ginsberg and Waldman and devoted to the Beat aesthetic. All photographs are near fine and signed and dated in ink on the reverse by Peter Dillon who was the photographer. An insightful collection.
