29.7 x 42cm, full colour archival giclee print display8ing one of Banner’s over paintings of charity shop seascapes – here with punctuation symbols that replace any ships or boats in the image. Later Banner made huge sculptural forms also in the shape of typographical symbos which Greenpeace dropped as an installation in the sea in the Dogger Bank Marine Protected Area, as part of the campaign to protect those areas from over fishing (the sculptures snag the nets of boats to prevent decimation of the undersea populations.
This is signed, dated and numbered on the back in pencil and comes with a 30 x 21cm, 1pp explanation sheet which is also signed bottom right by Banner in pencil. Both VG+.
