21 x 13cm, 112pp. Boards with dustjacket. First edition of this collection of poems which is notable for its Warhol designed dust jacket and frontispiece – an early and charming portrait of a girl on a horse in purple and black. Sadly this copy has a great deal of damage to the spine with a length of around 8cm missing and tears elsewhere and some staining.
Internally the book is near fine with Warhol’s influence felt throughout as the titles of each poem are also in his facsimile hand (the shaky typography of his early commercial work). Very scarce INDEED although the damage does detract – priced thus.
