This was Malcolm Goldstein’s “50th birthday concert” – Goldstein had been a fixture in NYC and had founded the Tone Roads Ensemble with James Tenney and Philip Corner  and was involved with the Judson Dance Theater as well as Charlotte Moorman’s various Avant Garde festivals.
