8 x 10cm, burned multi-coloured bow tie in original plastic bag. Picard’s husband was well known for his bow-tie habit – and when she found him cheating she apparently burnt his collection – hence this item was included in the ‘S.M.S.’ (S**T MUST STOP) Portfolio, No. 4 in an edition size (eventually) of 1,200. One of the harder to find object multiples from the series of portfolios released by Copley and his artist-loft-buddies. Fine apart from the charred aspect.
