30 x 21cm, 40 xerox pages on various coloured stock. Two rivets for binding. The first rare edition of this homemade artist’s book. Images and texts throughout by Schneemann. This copy is one of 250 first edition copies created by hand by Schneemann before a second edition was published five months later in a much larger run of 1,050 copies. There is a slight condition issue – the first two pages have come away from the top binding (the construction of the book almost tempts this) but otherwise a very good bright copy. Scarce second artist’s book by the performance artist and early feminist “goddess”.
