30 x 21cm, 56pp plus card covers. The programme for a film festival of political films in the popular and influential Cineclub that created a model of politically committed film theatres in Holland and which won a regular audience for non-mainstream protest films.
The listings here include many of the important films of the early 70s including the Winter Soldier (a 1972 US documentary about a media event sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans Against the War which publicised war crimes and atrocities by the United States Armed Forces in Vietnam). Other sections (apart from the extensive Vietnam programme of nearly 20 films) including women’s liberation, China and Mao, Cuba, “Amerikkka” and student revolt. Illustrated by cartoons throughout by Willem the Provo associated cartoonist. VG+.
