Kopenhagen: s.p. (2nd Situationiste Internationale) 1962

29.7 x 21cm, 1pp. Black on red. The public manifesto of the 2nd Situationist International as founded by Nash and de Jong and others with support from the excluded SPUR grouping. The title (common rite) heads 11 statements which in part reassert the role of the artist in politics (something which had become anathema to Debord and the Parisien IS comrades who believed art to be part of the Spectacle) albeit a different type of agit-prop art. A fine example of a rare document.
