First edition of this exhibition catalogue and artist’s book displaying pages from Darboven’s title installation which the artist based on Bach’s Tocatta and Fuga d-Moll (BWV545) – initially annotating the score and then the libretto (in the margins) and then expanding the texts and abstract writings over numerous pages – with the rhythmic rise and fall of the line representing beats in the music. Slight bumping to edges of the book but otherwise very good.
