EDINBURGH CARNIVAL AGAINST THE NAZIS (TYPOGRAPHIC VERSION). 1978.

£495.00

Edinburgh: RAR/Anti Nazi League, n.d. (1978)
50 x 37.5cm, red and black silkscreen on yellow paper. The earliest of the three pesters created for the Edinburgh Carnival – the design is mostly typographic with the only exception being an arrow breaking a Nazi swastica in two (an example of how Soviet constructionist design was co-opted by the ANL). Top corners with small diagonal fold marks else Vg. Uber rare – this may well be the only extant example of this poster.
