Bremerhaven: Kabinett fur Aktuelle Kunst, 1970
50 x 48 cm, original red and black silkscreen with five small b/w tipped on lithographic photographs which was produced in only c. 50 copies by the gallery and issued as not only the publicity for the exhibition but on display in the space AS the exhibition itself
(creating a fictitious travel agency out of the small gallery with posters on the windows). The text in German and French and the five
b/w photographs of Sauve promotes the town as a tourist attraction – in part because this was Filliou’s birthplace. One of the most rare of Filliou’s multiple works. Ref: Editions and multiples nr 36. There is a brown mark (probably a printing error) on the left but this was how it was issued by the gallery. Very rare – this is our last copy of this multiple by Filliou having sold our other example.
