FAX-O-GASME. 1998. UNIQUE PAINTING ON FAX MADE FOR FILLOU’S ART BIRTHDAY..

152 x 21cm, original fax which has been conjoined with glue by Corner in two places. The fax having been sent to L’Espace Cultural F.M. in Périgueux on the “birthday of art ” – 17th January (as claimed by Robert Filliou) – thereafter Corner then painted over the sheets using a variety of ink colours to create a long abstract painting on paper.

The work is titled “FAX-O-GASME” and is signed, dated and has the title and background information also handwritten in blue ink on the upper part of the fax. The paper is mildly browned after 20 plus years but else this work is in VG+ condition.

A unique work by the Fluxus artist.
