First edition of this catalogue cum artist’s book with full colour reproductions of works throughout and additionally source imagery (viz soft core bondage and cartoon S/M fantasies). Jones is of course a product of his era – the objectification of women being unquestioned yet somehow forgiven by the pop sensibility in his work (and the thematic subjects of others in the movement including the US wing of Warhol, Rosenquist, Ramos, Wasselman, Oldenburg and others) which emphasised the commercial exploitation of all modern life and the way exploitation was intrinsic to all commercialism. And now 50 years on Jones paintings and sculptures seem quaint although still clearly powerfully sexual if only from a male heterosexual point of view. Some wear around edges of covers else VG. Scarce.
