13 x 18.5cm, black and white silver vintage gelatine photograph (probably unique) showing “the last event of Robert Watts October 16 1988” – the title as written on the back of the photograph by Matthes the photographer. The image shows a public launch of Ben Patterson’s canon-boat with the artist designed flag abroad, Larry Miller’s “21 gun salute with but with a Baby” and the participation of Geoff Hendricks, Eric Andersen as well as Watts. The back of the photograph has the above text in black ink and the copyright and photo-credit of Sabine Matthes – all also in her handwriting.
