21 x 15cm, 2pp. Announcement card for the artist’s solo show displaying an installation view of the artist’s text works which simply reproduce smuggled out writings from confined Provisional Irish Republican Army (PIRA) prisoners on large panels. The work was originally created in France during the 1990s at a time when the Troubles in Ireland were at their height and the terrorist prisoners being held in the H Blocks by the British Government were campaigning (via ‘dirty’ protests and hunger strikes) to be treated as political rather than criminal prisoners.
