8 volumes in 13 numbers. Uniformly 20 x 14cm, Pagination varies – approx 3,500pp in all. Title page in each volume with a constructivist design by Teige who also designed the typography for the complete series of books. The first edition of this translation (by Jar. Vobrubova) of Proust’s vast masterpiece. Slight browning to some spines but overall a very good ++ to near fine set complete with original subscription form to order this part work. Very rare.
