IN SEARCH OF THE MIRACULOUS. 1974. ONE OF ONLY CIRCA 50 MADE AND MOST LOST – A MAJOR ADER RARITY LONG FORGOTTEN AND UNKNOWN IN THE LITERATURE

50 x 48 cm, exhibition poster with the title reproduced in silkscreen text (no image) as proposed by Ader. It has been estimated (as with all posters from the Kabinett) that only approximately 50 of these posters were made. All Ader period items are rare but this is almost impossible to find given this poster is unknown and NOT cited in the Ader catalogue raisonne. This example has only recently been found in an archive along with only a very few extant copies: there were two variants of the poster – one printed white on black and another printed black / grey blue on white. Here we offer an example of the b/w poster. Some minor wear and small tears around the left edge that does not distract otherwise very good + condition.

Utterly rare – it is not impossible that only seven copies in total of the two variants of this poster are extant and this copy is likely to be the only copy offered for private sale anywhere.
