INTERFUNKTIONEN. No. 4 (WITH PANAMARENKO PLASTIC INSERT). 1970.

£195.00

Koln: Interfunktionene, 1970.

29 x 21cm. 182 pp. B/w illustrations throughout. Single number of this important documentary review issued in an edition of 1,000 examples. Original contributions (consisting of pageworks and inserts) by Panamarenko, Dennis Oppenheim, Keith Arnett, Daniel Buren, Diter Rot, Immendorff, Gunter Brus and Jan Dibbets amongst others. Primarily however this edition is mostly significant because of the inclusion of the primary contemporary documentation of Beuys’ performance Iphigenie where he brought a live horse onto the stage with him.

Laid in is a Panamaranko plastic multiple (sometimes missing) of a plan for a model airplane. Some marking and surface damage to wrappers and spine but otherwise very good. Scarce.
