Commercial TDK audio cassette tape in original jewel plastic case content of music recorded by the Fluxus artist Henning Christiansenat Rannoch Moor. The second of the works “180 HAMMERSTROKES AGAINST WAR MACHINES” consisted of the artist raining sledgehammer blows on a piece of iron while counting from 1 to 180, the first however “IO AM EN VOGEL” translates to I am a bird but the full title is “Il Giardino della Montagna Gialla”, Opus 171. <BR>

This may well be an unique recording of a performance by Henning Christiansen in Scotland. The paper insert with the details of the event is hand-written by Christiansen and is signed with his initials alongside the date. Additional initials are UR and we believe this to be Ursula Reuter Christiansen, Henning’s wife and sometime musical partner. This in any even is a very rare item of sound/musical art indeed. VG++.
