LARIONOV GONTCHAROVA. 1965.

66 x 45cm, full colour exhibition poster with reproduced work 
by the Cubo-Futurist Larionov from c. 1912 between gallery text. 
The two artists were husband and wife - the latter dying in 1962 and 
Larionov in 1964. Goncharova was perhaps the more important 
avant garde figure because of her involvement in Der Blaue Reiter group 
in 1911 but Larionov also played his part in the development of 
Russian modernism founding 'The Donkey's Tail'
group as an attempt to create a specifically Russian avant garde style.
