First edition of this attractive monograph, detailing the Surrealist-affiliate’s paintings. Molinier’s fetishistic gender-bending photographic self-portraits were the basis for many of his painted works. However the interest in the photo pieces has somewhat obscured his intended, more public legacy. A fine copy of this colourful and informative reference.
