LITHOGRAPHIC PHOTOGRAPH OF “THE GOLDEN HOUSE”. 1969.

£0.00

Antwerpen: A 37 90 89, n.d. (1969)
27 x 20cm, 1pp. B/w offset leaflet displaying a reproduction of an image of the “Golden House” where the famous conceptual art venture A 37 90 89 was sited and formed. The image was taken on the day of the first meeting in the garden of Dr Peeters to set up the short-term venture. The photographer was Maria Glissen-Broodthaers. The front of the house was painted gold (Kasper Konig believes this was the direct influence of James Lee Byars) although apparently the paint was in fact copper based and slowly changed colour towards a green rather than the planned bright tint.
