L’ORIGINE D’EURYDICE. 1962.

21 x 25cm, silver gelatine b/w photographic print displaying Bertini’s painting of the myth of Eurydice (who died after stepping on a viper and was returned to life by Orpheus). The image was taken by Serge Beguier whose stamp is found on the reverse of the paper along with a hand-written title, size and date for the work. Sadly the photo has been adhered to some other card in the past and there are paper remnants on the back that can be seen through the front, and also minor edge damage in one part. Priced to reflect these flaws.
