Glasgow: National Abortion Campaign/STUC, n.d. 1979
42 x 30cm, 1pp. Black on yellow poster calling for support for the national march in London against the Corrie amendment. The Corrie “Bill” was introduced in the House of Commons in 1979 by John Corrie (Conservative M.P. for Bute and N. Ayr) to restrict abortion rights that had been granted under the 1967 Abortion Act. The Bill was withdrawn in March 1980 thanks to well supported campaigns by woman and organisations like the Trade Union Congress. VG.
