Edinburgh: Edinburgh Film Festival, 1982

30 x 21cm, 2pp black on yellow mimeographic leaflet – the handout for a showing of two of Peter Greenaway’s most influential films – A Walk Through H and Vertical Features Remake originally from 1979 and 1978 respectively. Both films were scored by Michael Nyman. Experimental – A Walk Through H shows a sequence of paintings by Greenaway which are treated as maps with a narration about Tulse Luper (an ornithologist) walking to an unstated end (H could be either heaven or hell). Vertical Features Remake is also a film starring Tulse Luper who organises the world around him by catagorising vertical structures. Slighte edge wear but else VG+. The retrospective of Greenaway’s films at this Festival was a very significant event – bringing the director and artists to a much wider audience.

Formerly folded for storage but overall VG+. Scarce.
