21.8 x 14cm, 20pp plus card covers and printed “blueprint” dust jacket. Artist’s book. Weiner was commissioned in 1999 to produce a public art work for New York “he introduced 19 manhole covers to Manhattan “ each carrying the message: “IN DIRECT LINE WITH ANOTHER AND THE NEXT”. Placement mirrored the stars above in the shape of 3 constellations including the Great Bear. All of the 19 manholes are reproduced herein along with the blueprint dj which shows the placement and original instruction drawing supplied to the manufacturer. Fine estate. Now scarce.
