Paris: Contre-Attaque, 1936
11 x 12.5cm, 1pp political leaflet with an illustration of a cow’s head on a platter which ostensibly celebrated the anniversary of the execution of Louis XVI and condemned the supposed contemporary ‘200 families’ who controlled France’s financial sector; the hint being a similar fate as that befalling the aristocracy would be welcomed for the latter capitalists.
The leaflet announced that the main speakers at the rally would be Georges Bataille, Andre Breton and Maurice Heine. Fine. Very rare.
