CORNER PIECE. 1988. UNIQUE WORK IN A SERIES

5 X 7 X 5cm, black painted shaped piece of wood possibly from an organ or similar with brail raised dots on it. One of a small number of such works by Knowles created during a performance at Hundertmark Gallery, Germany in 1988 (alongside a second show called Finger Book). Some apparent wear of the black colour along the edges but this was probably the original state of the work. It is signed, dated and entitled on one side by Knowles by scratching. Only 25 examples each unique were issued by the artist.
